I keep doing this...

Disappearing for months or years, and then coming back.
I love this place. It's always a comfortable place to come back to.
I've been spending a lot of my creative energy on writing my book, working on the plot and developing the characters.
I pretty much started over, different story, slightly different ideas.
I've made huge strides in the process over the last year or two.
On a personal note, I met a new guy, dated him, and it didn't work out.
Almost two years.
Usually it takes about that long for me to know whether or not the person is meant for me.
I'm compatible with everyone, but not for long.
My greatest fear is that I'm never going to find someone I can spend forever with.
Everything always fades.
Ugh.
Tonight I feel sad.

What's it been, like almost 3 months since I've posted anything?
Wow, what a lazy bum.
GUESS WHAT.
I got a new 5 gallon tank for Zurg, because he's been having repeated bouts of non-serious fin rot in his bowl.
So I decided a filter, a heater, and some nice live plants will do him good!
Once the tank is set up, filtered, and the plants have started to grow, I will take a picture of him in his new home.
As for his old bowl, I wasted little time picking out a room mate for him!
And there I bring you Peach fav.me/d4acjyg
He's SO CUTE and little! He hasn't grown into his fins, yet!
He's got a kind of dull, blue-ish brown-ish body that shimmers in the right light, and these gorgeous peachy fins with pink veins and translucent black edges.
HE IS SO LOVELY AND I HEART HIM SO MUCH.
I've been researching into getting Zurg a tank mate, but I don't really like anything that I saw which is compatible with him, and the cories won't be able to move in for at least 2 months.
I might get a snail or a frog, or something though.
I dunno!
Anyway, I've been doing nothing but work, watch TV, read fanfics, take some pictures, and get fat.
No art, no writing, just photography.

HEY!
I have been completely absent these last couple of weeks, and I am SO SORRY.
I've done practically nothing this whole time.
About the most I've gotten around to is adding half a sentence to my story, and I still haven't come up with a name for a planet, which is consequently keeping me from finding the motivation to continue.
So here I have a request of all my dear watchers and friends on here....
Help me come up with a name for the planet?
Normally I would just type a random jumble of letters and go from there, but I feel that it needs a decent name to reflect the back-water feeling of it.
Here's a descriptive list:
-Back-water, freelance, creepy slum of a planet.
-Everything is way cheaper than any kind of "name-brand" place, but the workmanship is questionable, and chances are high that every merchant you encounter is trying to trick you into or out of something.
-"Trust no one" is a commonly referenced piece of advice for most outsiders seeking some kind of trade there.
-This is probably where I'm going to base Gruillo's race from. It seems like a fitting place for him.
Okay, now GO! Suggestions! Yes! Let's hear them!
So other than that little bit of a predicament, I've been SO LAZY.
All of my free time has been filled with watching TV and waiting impatiently for summer to meet me on the corner.
I've not read anything in like, a month.
I haven't written anything, really.
I haven't drawn or colored.
It's not that I haven't had the desire to, it's just that the idea of lazing about like an oversized couch cushion seems much more appealing lately.
Also, I almost quit smoking.
I had been without a cigarette for about a week, when I couldn't take it anymore and Avery at work was like "HAVE ONE OF MINE, EVEN THOUGH I KNOW YOU'RE TRYING TO QUIT LOL."
And I was all, "Oh hell freaking yeah, new biffy!"
So I smoked it.
But I've limited myself to ONE A DAY.
Though yesterday I think I had two.
And I want to smoke, like, four at a time right now.
Blech.
DON'T EVER START SMOKING.
BAD IDEA, OMG, FOR SURE.
LIKE, TOTALLY.
Just say no.
Did you notice that if you move the "l" in "Blech down one space between the "e" and the "c" then you get "Belch?"
I just noticed that. Weird.
OH!
But Mari Miniatt, my friend who wrote Fledgling and Killer, has started the Unofficial Syracuse Writer's Group, to which I have been invited!
This is where we all meet at a coffee place downtown and discuss our books.
It'll be great to get the perspective of others, instead of Brandon who is always like, "It's good, honey. I'll be the first to read it when it's published."

I love Starbucks.
I'm being trained to train!
Which means I'll be training new employees, woot!
I love coffee. I'm drinking some now, but I WANT MORE.
I am so greedy.
I AM SO BORED.
I don't want to work tonight.
My inner ear is full of fluid, and it's driving me insane.
The doctor I saw for it told me that some steroid nasal spray and antihistamine should take care of it. In a couple of weeks.
But I want it gone NOW, not in three weeks.
Whatever.
I should go get ready for work.
P.S. Josh Harris from Deadliest Catch is a mother fuggin hottie.
Just sayin'.
